Based in the eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio region, Steffanie plays regularly in many classical and commercial settings. Her trumpet teachers include Professor Greg Wing and Dr. Ricky Spears.
While Steffanie loves playing the trumpet, she also enjoys teaching it. Private instruction consists of fundamentals, various etudes, and repertoire catered to each individual, with each lesson focusing on musical literacy- on what is and is not written in the music.
Steffanie has served as the trumpet instructor throughout the central and eastern Kentucky regions. Her students consistently receive distinguished marks, including: participation in the Kentucky All-State bands/orchestra, principal and upper chairs in district/honor bands, and admittance into college music programs.
